Internet Service Providers (ISPs)
The Committee has established relationships with these companies that help us evaluate partnerships for forming broadband initiatives in Nevada County. These providers currently provide broadband speeds over 100/20 and often have gigabit+ speeds. Some providers offer Dedicated Business Internet, which is a high-end product providing the customer with a unshared, dedicated and guaranteed bandwidth.

Satellite ISPs
Satellite internet service providers have been traditionally excluded from the Arkansas Broadband Office's list of providers because of the "Affordability" factor (high price). President Trump's "Benefit of the Bargain" forced two Low Earth Orbit (LEO) Non-GeoStationary Orbit (NGSO) satellite companies into the mix.
They are listed here only because they are the BEAD preliminary "selectee" at 66 locations in Nevada County and because they may be the only broadband speed availability for other locations until fiber can be installed.Space Exploration Technologies Corp (SpaceX)

Amazon Leo
- Web Page: https://leo.amazon.com/ (renamed to Leo in November 2025).

LTE "Fixed Wireless" ISPs
Fixed Wireless internet service providers are excluded from the Arkansas Broadband Office's list of providers because they seldom provide broadband service of 100/20 or more. One fixed wireless ISP has "home internet" that may be the only choice or the lowest-cost choice for some locations in the county. Therefore, we include it in this list.
T-Mobile
- Web Site: https://www.t-mobile.com/home-internet.
- Locations very close to their tower can have speeds in excess of the minimum broadband standard of 100/20. More distant locations (about 2-7) miles from their tower have reasonably good speeds.
- $50/month, $35/month if your cellular service is with T-Mobile.
- The device is easy to install: plug it in to a AC outlet and within minutes WFi® is ready. There also a couple ethernet ports.
- They ship a device to you within a few days. We've also heard of picking up at a T-Mobile store.
